Part Reference Dialog Box

The Part Reference / Edit Part Reference dialog box lets you enter and edit part list-related information for the part associated with a Part Reference.

The dialog box appears, for example, when you use the AM_PartReference, AM_PartReferenceBlock, and AM_PartReferenceEdit commands.

Part Reference Dialog Box Elements

Option Description
Component Properties

Lets you enter or edit data for properties parts lists.

By default, the list displays the properties for Name, Material, Vendor, Note, Measurement, and Units.
Quantity Lets you specify the quantity in the parts list. The default is 1.
Delete Removes a property from the Property list. The property is hidden, but not deleted because it appears in part lists.
Customize

In the Customize Part Reference dialog box, you can specify which component properties are visible in the Part Reference dialog box. Select or clear properties in the Property list.

Add

Specify a name for the new component property.

Delete

Removes a component property from the Property list.
