Applying Convection to the Outer Faces of the Coffee Pot

You apply a convection boundary condition to the outer faces of the pot.

1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Thermal Loads folder and select Convection .
   The Convection PropertyManager appears.
2. In the graphics area, click the outer faces of the pot (2 faces) as shown in the figure.
   
3. Set Units to English (IPS).
4. Set the Convection Coefficient to 6.1e-5 (BTU/(sec.in².°F)).
5. Set the Bulk Ambient Temperature to 72 (°F).
6. Click .
