      Ply Thickness Angle
      1 0.01 0
      2 0.01 45
      3 0.01 90

      7 0.01 90
      8 0.01 -45
    3. In the composite shell plies table, highlight Ply number 4 (-45 degrees). The gray arrow shows the ply angle of -45 degrees. The Back view orientation of the model is shown.

The composite triad at the center of the face has four arrows for defining the ply angles.

    Shows the 0-degree ply orientation.
Shows the 90-degree ply orientation. The green arrow aligns normal to the 0-degree ply orientation.
The blue arrow is normal to the surface. Mirror Orientation flips the blue arrow direction.
