Offsetting and Trimming Entities for the Second Set of Cuts Select one of the vertical lines near the edge of the part, then click Offset Entities . In the PropertyManager: Set Offset Distance to 1. Offset the entity toward the outside of the part. Clear Select chain. Click OK . Repeat for the vertical line near the opposite edge of the part. Select one of the vertical lines near the center of the part, and offset it by 1 mm toward the middle of the part. Repeat for the remaining vertical line. Use the Trim Entities tool to trim the three segments at each end and the two segments in the middle, leaving two closed rectangles.
