It is a good practice to give meaningful names to the features in your parts, especially when you plan to use a design table. This eliminates confusion in complex parts, and helps other people who use the parts later.

Browse to the location where you
placed the designtables folder and open
tutor1.SLDPRT.

In the FeatureManager design tree, select Extrude1 and press F2 to rename it.
You can also click-pause-click on items in the
FeatureManager design tree to rename them.

Enter the new name, Box,
and press Enter.
Feature names cannot contain the @ character.

Rename these other features:

In the dialog box, for File name enter
tutor3.SLDPRT, then click
Save.
To give descriptive names to features as you create them,
click . Under System Options,
select FeatureManager, then select
Name feature on creation. Each
time you create a new feature, the name of the new feature in the
FeatureManager design tree is automatically highlighted, and ready for you
to enter a new name.
