Inserting a Reference to the Active Revision Table

You can use the Revision Table screen of the Settings dialog box to define the Multiple sheet style as On Sheet 1.

With this setting, the first revision table you create, on Sheet 1, is the active revision table. To insert revision symbols on another drawing sheet, you insert a table that references the table on Sheet 1.

To insert a reference to the active revision table:

  1. On a drawing sheet that does not contain the active revision table, click Insert Revision Table (Mechanical toolbar) or Mechanical Annotate > Revision Table > Insert Table.
  2. Click in the graphics area to specify the table insertion point.

A revision table appears in the graphics area. The Description column shows the reference to the Sheet 1 active revision table.

You can now insert revision symbols that reference the most recently inserted revision row of the active revision table.
