Settings Dialog Box - Check In

Use the Check In page to specify how Enterprise PDM should locate and handle drawings when the user checks in the file that references them.

To display the Settings dialog box, right-click a user or group and select Settings.

Include drawings automatically when checking in the model.

When a model is being checked in, drawings that are referenced by the model are included in the Check In dialog box.

If cleared, referenced drawings are not listed in the Check In dialog box and must be located and checked in separately.

Look for drawings in the entire vault (instead of only the same folder).

The entire vault is searched for referenced drawings.

Look for drawings in sub-folders of the folder containing the model.

Subfolders of the folder containing the model are searched for drawings.

Look for drawings in parent-folders of the folder containing the model.

Parent-folders of the folder containing the model are searched for drawings.

Only look for drawings with the same file name as the part/assembly.

The only drawings listed in the Check In dialog box are those whose names are the same as the referencing model.
