My SolidWorks Workgroup PDM Cleanup
Use the My Workgroup PDM Cleanup tool to manage your personal workspace.
This tool searches the folder you select and shows all files based on
selected search criteria. You can then clean up your workspace by deleting
selected files.
To use My Workgroup PDM Cleanup:
In the SolidWorks software or in the SolidWorks
Explorer client (with Workgroup PDM added in), right-click a folder in
the local view and select My Workgroup
PDM Cleanup.
Set options as described below. When files are
listed in the dialog box, click a header (Document,
Compare To Vault, etc.) to sort
files by that column .
Viewing Options
Displays files compared with those in the vault:
Older
Same
Newer
Not in vault
Conflict
Conflict indicates that the local file has
changed and there
is also a newer version in the vault. The user must resolve the changes
to the document in the vault with their local changes before checking
in the document from the local view.
Look For. Lets you set search
criteria for All Files, or for
Project, Owner,
or Status .. Set Equal
To for the criteria you select. (Not available when Look
For is set to All Files.)
Path. Displays the folder location
(read-only).
Show subfolders. Displays any
files from subfolders that meet the selected criteria.
All. Selects all matching files.
None. Clears the list of files
.
Delete Selected. Deletes any
documents you select in the folder.
