Zoom

To zoom so the entire model, assembly, or drawing sheet is visible:

    Click Zoom to Fit, View, Zoom to Fit, or press F.

To zoom in to an area:

Click Zoom to Area or View, Zoom to Area and drag to select the view area.

To zoom in or out:

  • Click Zoom In/Out or View, Zoom In/Out and drag up to zoom in or down to zoom out.

  • Press Z to zoom out or Shift+Z to zoom in.

  • Spin the mouse wheel forward to zoom out and backward to zoom in around the pointer position.

Annotation text scaling is supported in SolidWorks eDrawings only for eDrawings part and assembly files published from SolidWorks. Only 1:1 scaling is supported for SolidWorks part and assembly files in eDrawings.
