Hole Series (Middle Parts) PropertyManager

The Middle Parts are all the parts through which the Hole Series passes (between the first and last parts). If you add new components between the start and end components after you create the hole series, you can choose to include the new components in the hole series. You must edit the hole series to update it.

Middle Hole Specification

  • Auto size based on start hole. Sets the diameter for the middle parts by choosing the closest available hole size to the diameter of the first part. The available hole sizes depend on the selected screw type. If you change the Size (First Part PropertyManager, Start Hole Specification), the middle parts automatically update to match. Clear this option to set Custom Sizing.

  • Type. Select a drill type or screw clearance.

  • Size. Select a size for the fastener.

  • Fit. Select a fit for the fastener: Close, Normal, or Loose.

Custom Sizing

Sizing options vary depending on the hole type. Use the PropertyManager images and descriptive text to set the options such as diameter, depth, and angle.

You can override the value in the boxes. To revert to the default values, click Restore Default Values. The background color of the boxes is white for the default value, and yellow for the override value.
