Use the Add Public URL dialog box to specify the public URL that is used to access the SOLIDWORKS PDM virtual directory from clients outside the network.
This dialog box only displays the first time you connect to the Web server.
To display this dialog box:
Right-click Web Servers and select Add Web Server. After you complete the information in the Add Web Server dialog box and log in, this dialog box displays.

HTTP://<www.company.com>/<DirectoryAlias>/.

If you plan to use SSL for the SOLIDWORKS PDM Web access, you should type the secure connection URL (that is, HTTPS://...). |
