Camera

A SOLIDWORKS Visualize camera is a virtual viewpoint in 3D space that has position and direction. In a 3D scene, the camera represents the viewer's eye.

When the scene is rendered at final quality, it is the camera view that is used, rather than the one seen in the software's workspace. This way you can move around the workspace without disturbing the camera view.

Basic controls for the current camera are in the Camera panel.

These controls include the perspective selector , which lets you switch to front, back, far side, near side, top, and bottom cameras.

Additional controls are available on the Cameras tab of the Palette.
