You can set the mass of cables, cores, and wires in the Cable Wire Library Wizard
and the density for coverings in the
Covering Library Wizard
using the Routing Library
Manager.
The cable wire library and the covering library define the mass properties
of an electrical route that has cables, cores, wires, and coverings. The software
calculates and applies these properties to the solid bodies based on the values set in
the libraries. You can view the mass by using SOLIDWORKS Mass
Properties.
You can also view the Mass per Unit
Length and Density attributes in
the following PropertyManagers. These values are read-only.

under Properties.
- Covering PropertyManager under
Layer Properties.
- Fixed Length Covering
PropertyManager under Layer Properties.
