When
you open a SOLIDWORKS or eDrawings part or assembly in eDrawings:
- 2D annotations, general tables, and BOMs in the Notes
folder of the FeatureManager® design tree:
- Behave the same as in the SOLIDWORKS software, with the same
orientation and positioning.
- Remain parallel to the screen when you rotate or zoom
models.
- You can move tables anywhere in the graphics area.
- Cosmetic threads remain visible. (Only for SOLIDWORKS part/assembly files
when you set Graphics boost to Fastest
speed.)
Improvements in 2D notes include:
- Ability to zoom and turn notes on/off
- BOM display. Corrected background paper alignment, sizing, and
highlighting plane.
- Color
- Geometric tolerance symbols. Corrected
position, rotation, box lines, and specific angles for
general tolerances.

- Surface finish symbols. Corrected symbol lines, text position, angle,
and display.
- Text. Corrected mirrored notes, italics, angle, font, and note
positioning.

Improvements in
Unassigned Items and annotations:
- BOMs. Rotation with model and corrected background paper size.
- Notes. Corrected angle and positioning, notes move with model, zooming, and
ability to turn notes on/off.
Improvements to general tables:
- Table lines and text are synced.
- Text is properly aligned.
- Tables move when you rotate models.
- Ability to show/hide tables.
- Background paper is properly sized.
These improvements apply to .SLDPRT, .SLDASM,
.EPRT, and .EASM files.
