When you open a SOLIDWORKS or eDrawings part or assembly in eDrawings:

  • 2D annotations, general tables, and BOMs in the Notes folder of the FeatureManager® design tree:
    • Behave the same as in the SOLIDWORKS software, with the same orientation and positioning.
    • Remain parallel to the screen when you rotate or zoom models.
  • You can move tables anywhere in the graphics area.
  • Cosmetic threads remain visible. (Only for SOLIDWORKS part/assembly files when you set Graphics boost to Fastest speed.)
Improvements in 2D notes include:
  • Ability to zoom and turn notes on/off
  • BOM display. Corrected background paper alignment, sizing, and highlighting plane.
  • Color

  • Surface finish symbols. Corrected symbol lines, text position, angle, and display.
  • Text. Corrected mirrored notes, italics, angle, font, and note positioning.
Improvements in Unassigned Items and annotations:
  • BOMs. Rotation with model and corrected background paper size.
  • Notes. Corrected angle and positioning, notes move with model, zooming, and ability to turn notes on/off.
Improvements to general tables:
  • Table lines and text are synced.
  • Text is properly aligned.
