Importing Specification Data from the Properties of a CAD File

You can import a CAD file's properties to populate the specifications.

1. In the Table Manager, on the Specification tab, click Import CAD document property/parameter .
   In the Properties/Preferences PropertyManager, on the Select CAD Document Properties tab, all of the file's properties appear.
2. In the PropertyManager:
   1. Ctrl+select the properties to include in the specifications and click .
   2. Right-click each column header to map the data to the correct field and click .
   The data appears in the Specifications tab.
