Dockable panel > Contextual menu of electrical project: Configurations > User data... > New

The dialog box is divided into two tabs. The General tab allows you to set the name and the description of the user data configuration file. The second, Edition, allows you to manage the user data

In the Edition tab, the left part of the dialog box displays the user data, the right part displays the name of the user data or the selected group.

The user data are regrouped under groups (The group names user data and translatable data can be renamed and only serve to distinguish the data types). You can create as many groups as you want, but the quantity of user data is limited for certain elements (for example for cables, the quantity of translatable user data is limited to three).

To facilitate the management of user data, each item of user data is preceded by its order number. This number is also displayed in the dialog boxes for the electrical object properties.

Insert group: Lets you insert a new user data group.

Insert user data: Lets you create new user data (non-translatable). The user data is created in the selected group.

Insert translatable data: Allows you to create new translatable data. The translatable data is created in the selected group.

Move down / Move up: Used to organize the order of user data.

Delete: Lets you delete the selected user data.

Save: Lets you save the configuration file. It can be also registered when the dialog box closes.

Cut / Copy / Paste: Allows you to duplicate existing user data.
