Create a new Excel template

Menu: Electrical project > Configurations > Excel export / import... > Properties

Menu: Electrical Project > Configurations > Excel export / import... > New

A wizard opens allowing you to create a new template for the Excel export/import.

General

Name: Enter the Excel file name. This file will be saved in the hard drive of the workstation.

File extension: Select the file extension corresponding to your Excel version.

Description: Enter the description of the Excel template. You can click the icon to select the languages for managing the description.

Selection

Objects to export: The left part of the dialog box displays the list of elements containing data. Check the box to select the objects you want to manage.

Fields to export: The right part displays the data (user data and translatable data) associated with the selected objects. Check the box corresponding to the data you want to manage.

Finish

This tab displays the summary of the exported data. It indicates the number of exported fields for each table.

A checkbox, if it's activated, allows you to open the file (you must have Excel to open it) when you click the Finish button.
