Contextual menu of drawing: Properties

Mark

The drawing mark is automatically calculated according to the electrical project settings.

Mode: If you select the Automatic mode, the mark is calculated automatically according to the configuration settings. If you select Manual mode, you must enter the mark manually in the Mark setting.

Mark: Displays the automatic mark or is used to enter the manual mark.

Number: Displays the order number assigned to the drawing. You can change this number but you cannot use an existing number.

Hierarchy

Path: Indicates the path of the drawing (book and folders).

By default, a drawing is associated with a location and a function. All components contained in this drawing will automatically be associated with this location and function by default. When you change the drawing location (or function), a message box opens allowing you to change the location (or the function) of the components inserted in this drawing.

Location: Click the button [...] to open the location selector, this lets you select the location you want to associate with the drawing. On a 2D cabinet layout drawing, you can remove the associated location. This feature allows you to implant all the electrical project components in this drawing.

Function: Click the button [...] to open the function selector, this lets you select the function you want to associate with the drawing.

Information

Position of drawing: Displays the position of the drawing in the list (Pages tab) and the total number of drawings contained in the electrical project.

Revisions

Current revision: Displays the revision index assigned to the drawing. You can manage the revisions by clicking the button [...].

Properties

Drawing type: Displays the type of the drawing. This can be Cover page, Line diagram, Scheme, Mixed scheme, Terminal strip, Report or 2D cabinet layout. This setting cannot be modified, except for the schematic and line diagram drawings, which can be changed to a mixed scheme drawing type.

File name: Displays the filename. Do not rename this file, or else the link with the software will be lost.

Target file (only on file shortcut): Displays the path and the filename managed in a file shortcut.

Title block: Displays the title bock name used in the drawing. Click the button [...] to change the associated title block. If you click the arrow icon on the right, you have access to the Title block management menu.

Scale: This setting is only used for 2D cabinet layout drawing.

Description

The first translatable data of the drawing. You can enter a description in all languages managed in the electrical project.

User data / Translatable data

The user data are available across the entire electrical project. It is used to store personalized information, which can be displayed in the drawings. There are two types of user data: translatable user data (translated during project translation) and non-translatable user data.

 

 

The Customize... button lets you access the drawing user data.
