Align Components

This command works the same way as terminal strip insertion.

 

SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D menu: Align Components

Menu: Tools > SOLIDWORKS Electrical > Align Components

 

This command allows you to align and center components on a rail and defines the space between them.

 

   

 

The dockable panel will update with the available options.

Select components to align

1.     Select the components to be aligned in the graphical area.

The order components are selected in is important, as they will be placed in the order of selection.

Align Options

2.     Select the desired alignment.

Spacing: The clearance value used to separate the components.

Components without faces defined

List invalid components: Lists the components selected for alignment which have no defined faces. These components will not be aligned.
