SOLIDWORKS Electrical toolbar

Although most of the features available in SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D are meant for creating 3D layouts and routing, it is possible to edit electrical project data like terminal strips, manage reports, and more. These commands are grouped in the SOLIDWORKS Electrical toolbar and the SOLIDWORKS Electrical drop-down menu.

 

 

Menu: Tools > SOLIDWORKS Electrical

 

Electrical Project management: Displays the Electrical Projects management.

Interface configuration: Modifies the configuration of the SOLIDWORKS Electrical interface.

Application settings: Configures application data.

Add-in management: Manages, load and unload add-ins.

Connected users: Sends/receives messages to/from all connected users.

Cable reference management: Displays the cable reference management.

Manufacturer part management: Displays the manufacturer part management.

Project configuration: Displays the configuration of the current electrical project.

Location management: Displays the location management for the current electrical project.

Function management: Displays the function management for the current electrical project.

Terminal strip management: Displays the terminal strip management for the current electrical project.

Cables: Displays the cable management for the current electrical project.

Wire cabling order: Displays the wire cabling order.

Harness management: Displays the harness management.

PLC management: Displays the PLC management.

Reports: Displays the report management for the current electrical project.

SOLIDWROKS Assembly: Generates the assembly files for each location in order to do the cabinet layout in SOLIDWORKS.

Translate: Translates the elements of the current electrical project.
