Associate with existing 3D part or assembly

Contextual menu of a component: Associate

Allows you to associate an already inserted 3D assembly or a 3D part with a component of the list.

1.     Select in the graphical area, the corresponding 3D assembly or 3D part you want to associate with the component.

Unlike the insertion commands, the scale of the component does not change.

Hide associated components: All 3D assemblies that are already associated are hidden in the graphical area.

Show associated components as transparent: The 3D assemblies already associated are shown as transparent.

When you associate a component with a 3D part from an assembly, a message will ask if you want to associate it with the 3D part or the assembly.
