Terminals are shown in the middle of the dialog box and the cabling
information is shown on either side of the terminal.
The terminals can be moved by dragging and dropping them into your preferred
position; the cable cores can also be moved in the same way. The various
commands are accessible from the menu icons, or the terminal contextual
menu.
Terminal strip editor consists of two tabs showing Edit
and Advanced features.
Edit tab

Insert terminal:
Allows you to add one reserved terminal. The reserved terminal
will be inserted above the one currently selected.
Insert accessory: Allows
you to insert an accessory of the terminal strip, such as separator
or stop element. The accessory appears in the terminal strip as
a terminal but without a mark.
Insert accessory manufacturer
part: Opens the manufacturer
part selection dialog box to select a manufacturer part. This
is associated with the new accessory. |

Insert several terminals:
Allows you to add several reserved terminals. When activated,
a dialog box opens where you can enter the number of terminals
that you want to add. The reserved terminals will be inserted
above the one currently selected. |

Delete: Deletes
reserved terminals only. To delete terminals that exist in the
schematics, you must delete them from the drawing. |

Terminal strip properties:
Allows you to access the terminal strip properties. |

|
Properties: Allows
you to access the properties of the selected terminals. |

|
Manufacturer parts:
Allows you to assign or remove a manufacturer
part to the selected terminal. If several terminals have been
selected, the same manufacturer part will be assigned to all the
selected terminals. |

Change function:
Allows you to change the function
of the selected terminals. |

Go to: Allows
you to open the drawing where the terminal is inserted. |

|
Terminal strip drawing configurations:
Allows you to access the settings
to generate the terminal strip drawings. |

|
Generate drawings:
creates or updates the terminal strip drawings.
Only this terminal strip will be redrawn. |

Cut: Places the
selected terminals on the software clipboard. The selected terminals
will be deleted only after their insertion by the Paste
command. This process allows you to keep the connection data of
the terminal. It is principally used to move terminals. You can
also use the shortcut: [Ctrl]
+ [X] |

Copy: Places a copy
of the selected terminals on the software clipboard and keeps
the originals. You can also use the shortcut: [Ctrl]
+ [C] |

Paste: Inserts the
terminals present on the software clipboard. You can also use
the shortcut: [Ctrl] +
[V] |

Select all: Allows
you to select all the elements present in the terminal strip (Terminals,
cable cores, references). You can also use the shortcut [Ctrl] + [A]. |
Advanced tab

Insert or remove page break:
Automatic page breaks are indicated by a red line and are automatically
calculated based on your configuration
settings. You can manually manage page breaks, denoted by
a blue line, by selecting a terminal and selecting the Page
break icon. |

Renumber: Allows
you to renumber the selected
terminals. You have to indicate the Start
number and the increment
value. |

Up / Down: Allows
you to reorder the terminals individually. |

|
Reorder: Allows
you to sort and renumber
the selected terminals. |

|
Define levels: Allows
you to define the number of levels on the selected terminals.
A dialog box opens to help you enter the number of levels. The
levels of the terminal have a different representation. |

Change terminal strip:
Allows you to move the selected terminals to another terminal
strip. |

|
Extract from terminal strip:
Allows you to remove the selected component from the terminal
strip. |

|
Invert: Allows you
to change the physical position of the selected terminals (inverting
the incoming and the outgoing sides of each selected terminal.
The order of connection points does not change). |

|
Bridges: Allows
you to link two or more terminals with bridges
or jumpers. |

|
Update: Used to
update the terminal strip according to the actions performed by
other users. |

Wire cabling order:
Opens the Wiring cabling order
dialog box allowing you to manage the cabling order on the selected
cable. This command is also available in the contextual menu of
a cable core. |

Associate cable cores:
The selection has to be made in the Cable column that corresponds
to the terminals to which you want to add cables. Refer to the
Cabling in the Terminal strips editor
section for more information on the cabling of terminals. This
command is also available in the contextual menu of a cable core. |

Dissociate cable cores:
Removes the cabling of the selected cores. This command is also
available in the contextual menu of a cable core. |

Switch cable cores:
Available, if only two cable cores are selected in the Cable
core column, this command allows you to switch the two
cable cores. This feature can also be used with a drag and drop
between two cable cores. |
Page break management
There are two types of page break: automatic page breaks (red) and manual
page breaks (blue). Automatic page breaks are calculated according to
the number of terminals authorized in the configuration
of the terminal strip drawing. Manual page breaks, the command for which
is available in the contextual menu for the terminal, allow you to split
the drawing of the terminal strip at the position of your choice.
When inserting a manual page break, the automatic page breaks are automatically
recalculated.
To delete a manual page break, use the command available in the terminal
contextual menu.
