Defining a Local Interaction

You define a Free local interaction condition between the cylindrical faces of the bolt and bolthole parts to override the global bonded condition that is applied by default.

In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Connections folder and select Local Interaction .
In the PropertyManager, under Type:
1. Select Free.
2. Select the cylindrical face of the bolt part for Faces, Edges, Vertices for Set 1 .
3. Select the cylindrical face of the bolthole part for Faces for Set 2 .
Click .
