Stabilizing the Plunger Part

You restrain the motion of the end face of the plunger in the plane of the face to prevent rigid body motions.

1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Fixtures folder and select Fixed Geometry.
2. In the PropertyManager on the Type tab:
   1. Select On Flat Faces under Advanced (Use Reference Geometry).
   2. Select the flat face of the plunger as shown for Planar Faces for Fixture .
      
3. Under Translations:
   1. Click Along Face Dir 1 and Along Face Dir 2 .
   2. Type 0 for each direction.
