Bridging creates a solid that joins multiple unconnected solid bodies.
This technique is useful when you create portions of the model first, and create the
connecting geometry
afterward.
This lesson demonstrates:
- Using the sweep feature to connect two solid bodies
- Merging the bodies to create one solid body

For example, to organize your tutorial
sample files, create a folder in your Documents folder named tutorial_files. Then extract into that folder to create a
subfolder named multibody that contains
the SOLIDWORKS parts for the multibody tutorial.
- In the multibody folder,
open multi_bridge.SLDPRT.
