Jogging Extension Lines

You can right-click linear dimension extension lines and select Display Options > Jog to place a jog in the line.

To remove a jog from a selected dimension extension line, right-click the line and clear Display Options > Jog.

Creating Jogs in Dimension Extension Lines

You can right-click an extension line and select Display Options > Jog to jog linear dimension extension lines.

To create a jog in a dimension extension line:

  1. Right-click a dimension extension line and select Display Options > Jog.
  2. Horizontally or vertically drag a point on the dimension extension line to create a bend.

    To remove a jog from a selected dimension extension line, right-click the line and clear Display Options > Jog .

Multiple Jogs for Dimensions and Callouts

You can apply multiple jogs to existing dimension and callout leaders by clicking Multi-jog Leader leader_jog.png Button from the Leaders tab of the Dimension PropertyManager.

You can also add jogs after you place a dimension or callout by right-clicking and selecting Add Jog Point. Drag jog points to create the jog after inserting the jog point.

You can add multi-jog leaders to hole callouts and to these dimension types:
  • Diameter
  • Radial
  • Chamfer
