Project Snapshot

You can create snapshots of a project, and restore the snapshots later if necessary. Snapshots are saved as .tewzip archive files in a Snapshots folder.

SOLIDWORKS Electrical prompts you to save a snapshot when you close a revision. You can save a snapshot at any time using a command on the ribbon bar or in the component/document tree. You can also specify that snapshots should be taken automatically at fixed intervals.

You also have the option to include project dependencies in the snapshot, or to leave them out to make the archive file smaller.
