You can create a pattern of components based on an existing pattern.
To use an existing pattern to create a pattern of components:

Click
(Assembly toolbar) or
.
- Select the seed components for Components to Pattern .
- Click in Driving Feature or Component and select the pattern feature in the FeatureManager design tree or a face of a pattern instance in the graphics area.
- To change the seed position, click Select Seed Position and select a different pattern instance as the seed feature in the graphics area.

To skip instances, click in Instances to Skip
and select the preview of the
instance in the graphics area.
The pointer changes to when it is over a preview in the graphics
area.
Skipped by Driving Feature
lists instances skipped
by the driving feature pattern or component pattern.

Optional. Under Options, enable Propagate component level visual
properties.
- Click .
The new components appear under
DerivedLPattern or
DerivedCirPattern in the FeatureManager design tree.
By default, all instances use the same configuration as the seed components. To change the configuration, edit the component properties of an instance.
