This tab shows the manufacturer parts assigned to a component, as well
as its circuit definition.
Manufacturer parts

Search: Opens a
dialog box allowing you to
search a manufacturer part in the library. |

Add manufacturer part:
Opens a dialog box to create a new manufacturer part. |
|
Add Electrical assembly:
Opens the dialog box allowing you to create a new Electrical
assembly. |

Delete: Deletes the
selected manufacturer part references. |
|
Properties: Opens
the selected manufacturer part properties
dialog box. |
|
Move up / Move down:
Allows you to organize the list of manufacturer parts. |
Circuits
The circuit definition is not available in the location and
the harness properties dialog box.
When you select a manufacturer part from the list, SOLIDWORKS Electrical
compares the circuits that make up the component
(symbols) with the circuits contained in the manufacturer part.
The green color indicates consistency
between the symbol circuits and the manufacturer part circuits.
The Red color indicates an inconsistency.
Certain circuit symbols are not present in manufacturer parts. You will
have to add auxiliaries or modify your component to add the symbols within
the manufacturer part.
The blue color indicates that
the manufacturer part contains circuits not represented in the symbol
(reserved circuits).
The Yellow color indicates
the presence of virtual circuits, which appear neither as symbols nor
as manufacturer part references (added manually).

Edit terminals:
Allows you to edit the terminal number of the selected circuits. |

Add virtual circuits:
Allows you to add a new circuit. A virtual circuit is not present
in the manufacturer part and in the symbols. |

Delete virtual circuit:
Allows you to delete the selected virtual circuits. |
|
Switch symbol circuit:
Allows you to switch two circuits selected in the circuit list. |

Dissociate symbol circuit:
Only the green circuits must be dissociated. When you dissociate
a circuit, it is automatically set in reserve (blue) and the circuit
of the symbol is set in red. |

Up / Down: Allows
you to organize the virtual circuits. |
These commands are also available in the contextual menu of the circuits.
