Edit title block graphics

Title blocks in the library consist of two parts: a graphical representation, and a set of parameters stored in the database. Title blocks must be edited using the Title block management, if not they cannot be managed by the software.

 

Title blocks have attributes that allows you to propagate the electrical project data saved in the database.

 

Title block management: Open

Documents tab > Contextual menu of a drawing > Title block: Open

 

Opens the selected title block in a graphical interface. If you do not activate the Keep the dialog opened option, the manager dialog box closes. If not, you can close it manually or resize it.

 

When the editor opens, the ribbon menu changes. An Edit title block menu appears.

 

The dockable panel displays the title block properties.

 

Use the following steps to manage the title block with SOLIDWORKS Electrical:

When you close the file, you are asked to save it.

 

The file can be open in DraftSight to edit the graphics.
