Document Ribbon You can add and remove files, extract characteristics, and manipulate drawings using tools on the Document ribbon. Add Add File Adds a file to a project. Remove File Removes a file from a project. Extract Auto Extract Automatically applies balloons to characteristics in CAD models, drawings, and PDF files. Manual Extract Lets you manually apply balloons to characteristics in CAD models, drawings, and PDF files. Rotate Clockwise Counterclockwise Revision Import File Performs an automatic or manual comparison between two CAD files. Grid Grid Displays a grid on a drawing. Zoom to Row Zooms to the specified row number in a grid. Zoom to Column Zooms to the specified column letter in a grid. Compare Replace Replaces the existing drawing in a project. Compare Compares a drawing in a current SOLIDWORKS Inspection project to a revised drawing. Alignment Points Add Lower Left Adds a reference point in the lower-left of each drawing to align them before comparing the drawings. Add Upper Right Adds a reference point in the upper right of each drawing to align them before comparing the drawings. Clear All Removes all alignment points.
