Creating Mid-Surfaces for the Scoop Click Offset Surface (Surfaces toolbar). In the graphics area, right-click the outer face of the scoop, and choose Select Tangency. All selected faces appear in Surface or Faces to Offset . For Offset Distance, type 0.0625 (in) to offset all selected faces by half the thickness of the scoop. Click Flip Offset Direction to change the direction of the offset, and click . The outer faces are offset inward at the middle section of the body. Click .
