You can assign more boundary conditions directly on geometric
entities than you previously could.
The boundary conditions that you can apply on geometric entities are the following:
- Injection Location
- Control Valves
- Mold Wall
Temperature
- Clamp Force
- Symmetry Face
- Insert Properties
(previously, Insert Boundary)
- Air Vents
- Exclude from Warp
(previously, Runner Element)
- Filled Hot Runner
- Coolant Input
Although the majority of the boundary conditions are geometry-based, the
following boundary conditions remain mesh-based:
- Warp Boundary
- Flow Injection

The mesh-based boundary conditions are available after generating a mesh.
