Working with Part References

You can create Part References and place them in the graphics area. Part References mark a geometry as a part to be included in a Bill of Material (BOM).

Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Use the AM_BOM command to create Bills of Material (BOMs).

BOM Dialog Box

The BOM dialog box lets you manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and BOM data in the drawing.

Creating and Placing Parts Lists

Use the AM_PartList command to create a parts list and place it in the graphics area. A parts list is derived from a Bill of Material (BOM).

Editing Parts Lists

Use the AM_PartListEdit command to modify existing parts lists.

Parts List and Edit Parts List Dialog Boxes

The Parts List dialog box lets you modify the layout of the parts list and change the appearance of the parts list data.
