Locking and Unlocking Construction Line Layers

Use the AM_ConstructionLineLayer command to lock or unlock construction line layers.

The default layer for construction lines is ARESM_CL.

The command also toggles the lock mode of a layer named the AM_CL. A layer with this name usually originates from drawings created in another CAD software.

Use the AM_Constline command to create construction lines on the default construction line layer.

You may also use the InfiniteLine and Ray commands to place construction lines in the graphics area. Make sure that these infinite lines are placed on a standard construction line layer so that the AM_ConstructionLineLayer command can be applied to them.

To lock or unlock construction line layers:

  • Type AM_ConstructionLineLayer at the command prompt.

The lock mode for construction line layers is toggled.

Access

Command: AM_ConstructionLineLayer
