Annotation Leaders

You can select leaders to attach to annotations. Not all leaders apply to each annotation. You can also change the attachment point of most annotations.

To change the attachment point of an annotation:

  1. Select the annotation.

  2. Drag the leader's endpoint to a different attachment point.

Type

Leader .

 

Multi-jog Leader . Inserts a leader with as many bends as required.

No Leader . Removes the leader.

Auto Leader . Inserts a leader if you attach the annotation to an entity.

Location

Leader Left . Forces the leader to run from the left side.

Leader Right . Forces the leader to run from the right side.

Leader Nearest . Inserts a leader on the left or right, whichever is closest to its attachment point.

 

Style

Straight Leader . Inserts a leader with no bend in it.

Bent Leader . Inserts a horizontal bend in the leader.

Underlined Leader . Underlines the text in a note. This is available for notes only.
