Dimension Leaders/Text

By default, the display of dimension text with respect to the leaders follows the selected dimensioning standard. You can override the default display.

To override the default alignment for dimension text:

  1. Click Options Tool_Options_Standard.gif on the Standard toolbar, or click Tools > Options.
  2. On the Document Properties tab, expand Dimensions.
  3. Click a dimension type, for example, Angle.
  4. In Text position, select a position, for example, Broken Leader, Horizontal Text .
  5. Click OK.

  • Dimension Leaders PropertyManager

    In the Dimension Leaders PropertyManager, you can specify the display of dimensions. If you select multiple dimensions, only the properties that apply to all the selected dimensions are available.

  • Setting Multiple Jogs in Dimension Leaders

    You can apply multiple jogs to existing dimension and callout leaders by clicking Multi-jog Leader from the Leaders tab of the Dimension PropertyManager.
