Routing Through the Clips

Next, you route the cable through the clips while editing the route.

1. Click Edit Route (Electrical toolbar).
2. Click Route/Edit Through Clip (Electrical toolbar or the Electrical tab in the CommandManager).
3. Optional: If this tool is not shown, add it to the Electrical toolbar.
   1. Click Tools > Customize.
   2. On the Commands tab, under Toolbars, select Electrical.
   3. Under Buttons, drag the tool onto the Electrical toolbar in the graphics area.
   4. Click OK to close the dialog box.
4. In the PropertyManager, for Route selections, select the cable.

   

5. For Clip selection, select the leftmost clip.

   The cable is routed through the clip.

6. Click .
7. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each successive clip.
