You can model cables or harnesses with SOLIDWORKS Electrical routing
tools.
In this tutorial, you learn how to:
- Add Routing to SOLIDWORKS and specify routing options.
- Manually create a route:
- Drag connectors and clips from the electrical routing
Design Library to create a harness.
- Specify wires and pins within the harness.
- Split a route.
- Import a route.
- Create a drawing from the route.
This tutorial assumes knowledge of SOLIDWORKS assemblies and drawings.
You must have SOLIDWORKS Routing (available in SOLIDWORKS Premium or separately) to run this tutorial.
